    • 12–24 month VA roadmap – a written plan with clear next steps and priorities

    • Email support between calls for questions and check‑ins during the 4 weeks

  • Week 1 – Big Picture, Story Mapping & Records Overview

We start with your story and what the VA actually needs to see.

    • Go through your service history, key events, current rating (if any), and goals

    • Build your VA timeline and “big picture” so your claim has a clear narrative

    • Set up a simple folder structure (digital or physical) for all your VA documents

    • Create an initial document list using what you already have (service records, medical records, buddy letters, etc.)

You’ll walk away from Week 1 knowing exactly what your claim is about, what you’re aiming for, and where your important documents live.

Week 2 – Evidence Organization, Gaps & Symptom Logs

Now we turn your life and paperwork into usable, organized evidence.

    • Refine your folder structure and document list

    • Identify what’s missing in your records and outline clear next steps to get it

    • Create or review your symptom logs so they actually reflect your day-to-day reality

    • Connect your symptoms to:

      • Work and income

      • Daily tasks (sleep, driving, chores, concentration, etc.)

      • Relationships, family life, and social situations

You’ll leave Week 2 with an organized system and a clear list of what to gather next, plus symptom logs that back up your claim.

    Week 3 – C&P Exam Readiness + Strategy & Decisions

We prep you for your C&P & future exams and make sure your next move with the VA is intentional.

    • What to expect at a C&P exam (and what it’s not)

    • What the examiner is really looking for: function, consistency, and history

    • How to prepare ethically:

      • No memorized scripts

      • No exaggeration

      • Ground everything in your real life and your logs

    • Build exam notes that reflect your actual daily life so you don’t freeze or forget important details

    • Align your goals with where you are in the VA process:

      • File now?

      • Appeal?

      • Wait?

      • Add or adjust claims?

You’ll finish Week 3 feeling prepared for the C&P and clearer about what move to make next.

Week 4 – Final Roadmap, Review & Next Steps

We pull everything together into a clear written plan you can follow.

    • Review your organized evidence and symptom logs as one complete picture

    • Finalize your written 12–24 month roadmap, including:

      • What to file and when

      • What evidence to add and how

      • Key dates, milestones, and decision points

    • Set concrete next steps for the next 30–90 days so you’re not stuck wondering “now what?”

    • Discuss whether Alumni support makes sense for you and what that would look like

You’ll leave Week 4 with a realistic, step-by-step roadmap for your VA claim and the confidence of knowing what you’re doing and why.

  • For some veterans, it makes sense to think about VA + SSDI together.
If that’s you, you can add the SSDI Readiness Bridge to extend your work with me.
