Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: Do you file VA claims or represent me with the VA?
No. I don’t file claims, act as your VSO or attorney, or represent you in front of the VA. This is coaching and education to help you get organized, understand the process, and present your reality more clearly. It’s not legal, medical, or mental health advice, and I’m not affiliated with the VA.
Q2: Can you guarantee I’ll get a certain rating or increase?
No. Only the VA can make rating decisions, and nobody can ethically guarantee a specific percentage. My role is to help you be clearer, more organized, and better prepared—not to promise outcomes.
Q3: Who is this 6‑week program best for?
This program is for veterans who:
Feel overwhelmed by VA paperwork, decisions, or ratings
Have multiple conditions and symptoms, but no clear “big‑picture” view
Have C&P exams coming up (or had rough ones in the past)
Want a simple 12–24 month plan instead of constant guesswork
Prefer private 1:1 support with structure and accountability
Q4: How are the sessions held?
Sessions are usually held by secure video call (or phone if needed). We’ll set regular times that work for both of us, and you’ll get a link for each session.
Q5: Do I need all my records before I start?
No. If you already have records, great—we’ll use them. If not, part of our work is figuring out what you have, what’s missing, and how to organize what you’re able to get. You do not need to be perfectly organized to begin.
Q6: What if I’m already working with a VSO, attorney, or rep?
That’s completely fine. I don’t replace your representative—I help you get personally organized and educated so you can have better conversations with your VSO/attorney/rep and understand what’s happening with your claim.
Q7: Can my spouse/partner sit in on sessions?
Yes, if you want them there and it helps you feel supported or remember details. This is your process. We’ll agree on what helps you stay most comfortable, focused, and honest.
Q8: What if I miss or need to reschedule a session?
If you need to reschedule, please email me at least 24 hours before your session time. A lot of time goes into reviewing your situation and preparing before each call, so sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice—or no‑shows—may be treated as a used session, except in serious emergencies.
Q9: Do you offer refunds?
Because this is a high‑touch, 1:1 program with limited spots and significant preparation for each client, I don’t offer refunds once we start. If something serious happens, we can talk about pausing or adjusting your schedule so you can still get the value you paid for.
Q10: What happens after the 6 weeks are over?
You’ll leave the program with things like:
A clear timeline of your conditions and key events
Organized evidence (based on what’s available)
A simple system to track and explain your symptoms
Drafted statements and C&P prep notes in your own words
A 12–24 month plan for what to do next
If you want ongoing help as things change (new exams, decisions, letters, etc.), you can join the Alumni VA Support Membership for continued support- We will walk you to the finish line.
Q11: Is this confidential?
Yes. I don’t share your records, story, or details with anyone. The only exception would be if you share something that makes me believe you or someone else is in immediate danger—then I would follow basic safety guidelines.
Q12: Is this therapy, medical care, or legal representation?
No. This is an educational and coaching program. It is not therapy, medical treatment, or legal representation, and it does not replace your VSO, attorney, or healthcare providers. I encourage you to continue working with qualified professionals alongside this program as needed.
